I am currently a Reliability Engineering Manager at Xcel Energy. In this role, I lead and manage a team of engineers with responsibilities in providing engineering support for the safe and reliable operation and maintenance of power generating stations. I also collaborate with other plant leaders in proactively addressing power plant needs to safely and efficiently operate and maintain various systems within the power plant generation cycle.Operation support includes: equipment troubleshooting, monitoring operational trends, reviewing key performance indicators, testing, optimization and tuning, root cause analysis, and environmental compliance. Maintenance support includes major unit outage overhaul planning and execution, contractor safety review and oversight, parts specifications and procurement, leading minor and major capital projects for long-term plant sustainability and planning.Xcel Energy is a major utility Fortune 500 company in the United States, providing electric and natural gas services to more than 6.8 million customers in 8 Mid-Western and Western states.
