Engineering professional with 45+ years experience in Nuclear, WTE, Thermal and GT (CCPP and OCP).Last plant I worked at, I was a Shift Supervisor.Since October 1996, I have been operating Energy Trainers International. We provide technical training and related services to gas turbine power stations (open cycle and combined cycle) around the world. Most of our work revolves around ABB and AP power stations.For the past 25+ years, we have also offered a combined cycle performance course, that has evolved over the years into a tight 4-day course that is always well received. This course is intended for experience plant operators, as the class discussions will be wide ranging and often tests the limits of how well students understand certain concepts. This course is offered either on-site or regionally (ie held at a hotel with people attending from different power stations). This course is also not GT or site specific, but many of the exercises, conducted throughout the 4-day course, are based on actual plant data from different facilities.The course was developed in SI units.

   ETI develops and conducts a wide range of technical training programs, for customers around the world, with an emphasis on BBC/ABB/AP Gas and Steam turbines. Training is done either on-site or at a convenient hotel. We do not offer on-line or video training.ABB/AP GT Training programs include- GT8B- GT8C- GT11N- GT11N1- GT11N2- GT13E2- GT24- GT26BBC/ABB/AP Steam Turbine training programs include ST designs from Mannheim as well as Finspong (also known as ABB Stal, at one time).We often include the Water-Steam Cycle as part of our STG training programs.We develop and conduct a wide range of HRSG Operations, including ABB C-E, AP, Deltak, Nooter Erickson, Aalborg, CMI, etc.We provide a 5-day CCPP Fundamentals Training Program.We provide a 4-day Enhancing CCPP Performance Course, that was developed using SI units and using plant data from CCPP\'s around the world.We develop plant operating proceduresWe develop digital (pdf files) coloured single line drawings of a particular GT, HRSG, ST and/or their Water-Steam cycle.
