I was appointed as a member of the board of commissioners in 2008. I later served as Secretary-Treasurer and Vice Chairman before being appointed to the role of Chairman.IHFA is a unique not-for-profit financial institution administering affordable housing related services. Among its economic development activities, Idaho Housing provides financial products that support small-business financing.

ABOUT STEVEN KEEN
Experienced Senior Vice President and CFO with a demonstrated history of working in the utilities, technology and housing industries. Areas of focus include risk management, strategic direction and operational oversight as well as full P&L responsibility. Leadership roles include Chairman of the Board of Commissioners for the Idaho Housing and Finance Association and previously President of a real estate investment subsidiary and interim CFO in an energy technology company.In addition to my leadership roles I have long held a passion for music. My guitar was a steady source of cash flow during the years I was going to college. As a musician, songwriter and entertainer I expressed my creativity musically whenever possible. In the early years I performed with my spouse from Idaho to Nashville winning recognition for songwriting and getting the occasional song \"held\" with major publishers. Currently I help mentor our kids as they establish their own creative pathways. Their endeavors into music and film have brought success and opportunities with no end in sight!
