ABOUT STEVEN HOLLOWAY

I am a consulting professional with over 25 years of experience. I have demonstrated my skills and achieved successes in such areas as operations management, project management, technical writing, and business systems analysis. On the analysis side, I served as the operations manager for the marketing/lead generation team of a large software manufacturing company. I was successful in implementing new policies and business strategies within the organization which reduced lost leads and increased overall lead qualification. I was also a key member of the project team on a large outsourcing project, and in that capacity I was responsible for extracting functional requirements from sales and marketing teams, and then translating those requirements into detailed specifications to ensure that all internal and external systems were optimized to capture and deliver the generated leads correctly. I have also served as both developer and project manager on a number of successful technical writing projects covering many industries. On a more general level, I possess a broad range of \"soft\" skills that give me the versatility to be placed in a number of contexts with the confidence that the level of expected excellence will be met. In most situations technical decisions must be made within the context of larger business constraints. Throughout my career I have strived to keep business issues in the forefront as an experienced consulting professional and business owner allocating resources and prioritizing enhancements to meet strategic objectives. Focusing on business imperatives is a core value of mine, one that I bring to every project on which I work.
