Responsible for all operations in the North West of England across the pipeline from processing, local collections/distribution and delivery. I lead 8 operational performance leads that lead around 114 delivery units, a collections and deliver manager and 4 plant managers that support and drive the delivery of performance metrics through engagement, structured ways of working and coaching for improvement. Through and with our colleagues we deliver around 16m items of post/parcels each week which in turn delivers the USO and delights customers through our brilliant people. A key part of my role is to work alongside our colleague (CWU) and manager unions (CMA) to build relationships and support implementation of strategy locally. I’ve joined the business at an exciting time. The transformational journey we are on will enable the business to grow, expand and deliver better for our colleagues and customers. I take my responsibility on the development and implementation of that journey seriously and look forward to supporting the team to deliver the business objectives.
