Throughout my career I’ve been drawn to teams and organizations that are committed to improving quality and service delivery. At the end of the day it’s about making a better experience for your customer, external and/or internal. Let’s find a small way to make the world a better place today. Then find another one tomorrow. This desire to help is why nearly all my working adult life has been spent with non-profits.I haven’t been afraid to pay my dues and work my way up to positions of greater leadership within an organization. I can lead big teams, but I don’t need to always be Batman. To be honest, I\'m a darn good Robin. I love being behind the scenes; consulting, developing strategy for what’s next, and thinking through the “what ifs?” At the end of the day, I can make the big call, but don\'t absolutely have to be the one that came up with the final decision. Great ideas come from people at all levels of an organization. There’s more than one way to be successful in life and I can help you achieve that goal following many different paths. I love to work in the early stages of development. Everything is messy, uncertain, and there’s only a vision of what the future might hold. I have much less passion for the end of the design process, when the pressing question is, “Can I get the icon in cornflower blue?” Sure. What’s the next project?Family is my number one priority in life, even more than work. Just being honest. When I’m not spending time being a husband and father to my two daughters, I spend my time searching for a great new craft beer or trying to find time to play another round of golf. When I crash on the couch, I prefer to watch a PBS documentary or an old movie—everything from silent, single-reel shorts from 1918 to Hollywood epics of the 1960s. Strengths Finder Top 10:1.
