Market data technical and support planning and implementation for a stream of infrastructure and application projects. Just completed a data center migration for the Americas offices - planning, design/specification/architecting, implementation. Also worked on data centre migrations for EMEA and APAC; TREP/RTDS market data build out; infrastructure planning and server inventory; ITRS/Geneos monitoring; documentation; change management; runbook authorship; service improvements; support for realtime and EOD data feeds; and all the other things that come with these.Noteworthy achievements with US DC migration - Consolidation of 5 legacy data centres into two modernised data centres- Over 30 separate applications migrated to standardised versions in new DCs going through QA and change control- Standardising hardware and operating system builds into a single, simple set of builds for a 200+ server estate and disposal of legacy tech debt- Updating and migrating six TREP/RTDS middleware backbones from unsupported to supported versions; including testing and building new multicast environment- Reducing security exposure through implementing single, standard, secure method login method- Reducing overall server footprint by ~15% while preserving room for development and growth- Improving overall ITRS Geneos monitoring of both applications and infrastructure via standardisation and review of existing rules- Working with networks teams to unpick an enormously complex legacy network and directing the implementation plan to reduce impact to clients to a bare minimum- Parallel migration of incoming Refinitiv and Bloomberg feeds, handling new and legacy permissioning issues- Ownership of the issues log, handling over 250 separate issues- Running changes on 38 separate weekends with teams across three continents to delivery- Ownership and creation of runbooks and associated QA and change approvals- No *significant* downtime - internally or to clients.
