Oversee the execution of the Defined Benefit (DB) investment strategy including working with actuary and policy team in building an asset-liability study, de-risking, hedge and credit path management and asset allocation. Coordinate efforts of investment committees, client staff, trustees/custodians, actuaries, external investment managers, and Aon portfolio management, operations, and trading teams.• Work with client investment committees to develop investment strategies and policy documents, implement multi-asset portfolio solutions, oversee investment managers (including contracting and hire/fire decisions), monitor glide path and liability hedging (\"LDI\") pension risk management strategies, and report on market conditions, funded status progress, and portfolio performance.• Manage client pension portfolios through various transactions and liability settlement events: plan spin-offs, mergers, terminations, lump sum windows, and annuitizations. Work with portfolio managers to build hedging strategies to meet plan-specific liability duration profile - with commingled credit and government bond funds, custom benchmark separate accounts, and futures overlays and other derivative strategies.• Manage junior staff to ensure quality presentations are created to ensure committee meetings convey the desired information and fiduciary oversight is managed.
