The SACC Coordinator of Extended Learning ensures the highest level of care for students in the School Age Childcare Program (SACC) and other after-school programs in compliance with DCFS/DHS licensing standards and District expectations. Position responsibilities include: Serve as a liaison between the principal, teachers, and SACC staff for program alignment withschool priorities. Assist SACC subsidy parents with DHS/AFC documentation to facilitate enrollment. Work with the grants department to enhance program enrichment activities. Conduct staff meetings (annual orientation, CPR/First Aid) and oversight of staff training and development. Monitor and maintain compliance with USDA nutrition requirements. Develop and update SACC Parent and Staff Handbooks. Manage student enrollment and staffing needs while maintaining accurate rosters year-round. Facilitate effective communication with parents and staff to address concerns and needs. Maintain personnel records, staff schedules, sub pool and AESOP approvals. Oversee program supply inventory and distribution according to program budget. Conduct regular site visits to assess program quality and adherence to standards. Secure appropriate current licensed site spaces and technology support for effective consistent program operations. Collaborate with Human Resources to facilitate staff hiring and employment records. Coordinate program activities, field trips, and professional development opportunities. Supervise all SACC employees, review and approve their timesheets. Maintain and review program monitoring documents. Perform other related duties as assigned to support program success. Responsible for designing, planning, coordinating, and overseeing the district’s summer learningprograms to align with district goals and student needs in an equitable, high quality collaborative manner. Gather feedback from students, families, and staff to assess and improve program effectiveness.
