Serving as a senior executive tasked with developing and coordinating privacy, data transfer, and cybersecurity law and policy efforts globally and develops and executes advocacy strategy in Washington with a strong record of successfully leading teams to achieve tangible results.\\\\n\\\\nPolicy work at RELX encompasses a broad range of issues including most aspects of consumer privacy, data protection, data access, data use, data analytics, data security, cybersecurity, cloud computing, big data, location data, facial recognition technology, cross-border data transfers, data localization, Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACT Act), consumer reports, thin-file consumer reports, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), employment screening, criminal background checks, and Dodd-Frank. When appropriate we work with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), National Institute of Standards (NIST), National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), and the Department of Commerce (DOC).\\\\n\\\\nMy Congressional work includes a number of committees including the Senate Banking, Commerce, Finance, Homeland Security, and Judiciary committees.
