Public Health Research Scientist supporting the Navy Expeditionary Preventive Medicine efforts of the Navy Marine Corps Public Health Center. • Assists the client achieve effective medical, public health and senior leader preparedness for identification and mitigation of environmental hazards, toxic industrial chemicals, emerging diseases and other hazards impacting environmental health mission requirements. • Manages projects that involve multiple organizational units within the medical readiness and response area. Establishes and manages project/program goals and proposal development. • Applies working knowledge of force health protection and training procedures to meet mission requirements. Develops new business opportunities in the environmental health and /or hazard protection areas. • Maintains both formal and informal communications and relationships with Navy and other DoD clients including responsibility for reports and presentations.
