Manager of End User Computing team (desktop and VDI), and a specific technical team that supports various technical back end components of clinical systems (diagnostic imaging, dictation, lab, and various other services). Team is responsible for service and support of workstations, 900 VDI vms, 300 servers, and 150 applications that support nearly employees.Responsible for mobile phone services (~7500 devices), and supporting MDM platform.Responsible for technical print support, including various virtual print servers, and a fleet of ~2300 printers of various types and brands (MFP, label).Participate in various collaborative provincial working groups related to desktop management, licensing, procurement, cloud services, and future strategy.Liaison to vendor providing outsourced desktop management duties to all health authorities. Team performance management, budget oversight, strategic planning to maintain technical currency of systems, and supporting various other IT teams in their implementations of projects and services as per the organization’s direction. Peer coach to new leaders coming up within the organization.Accountable for various technical projects including server refresh (OS life cycle, and hardware).
