About Steven C.
I am a technology specialist, a teacher, a team player, a listener, a problem solver, and a leader. Ever since I got my first computer as a kid, I was hooked, I quickly got to know the ins and outs of how a computer works. I really enjoyed it and realized this was what I wanted to do and how much it can help people. However, that wasn\'t enough for me to say I wanted to do this for the rest of my life. I desired to be part of something bigger than just helping people with technology solutions, to be part of a mission to help others on a grander scale. During my time at American Jewish World Service I have been exposed to not only different technologies but cultures, languages, and people as well. Whether it be assisting those in NY or peers in the global south, the impact of the work resonated with me very highly. As director, make sure 150 people, between 4 offices in the US and staff spread out over 19 different developing countries around the world are working smoothly, efficiently and securely. Fast forward to present day, as Director of Infrastructure and Security at The Juilliard School, I have taken my experience and skills to lead and deliver technology to echoes the excellence of music, dance and theater of the students and alumni of The Juilliard School. I love the work I do. It truly satisfies me, my values and motivates me everyday.I always keep my calm even in a fire. If you don\'t panic, others won\'t panic.There\'s no I in team.Willing to admit I can be wrong and don\'t have all the answers. Love to try and learn new technologies to see how it would best fit or make things easier or better in our environment.
