ABOUT STEVEN BURGESS

Steven Burgess is the Founder & Executive Chairman at The Burgess Group (TBG), an international firm specializing in wealth creation and wealth transfer strategies. Mr Burgess is considered to be one of the pioneers in the development of the traditional premium finance space. He started TBG in with the focus on creating a platform to provide an unparalleled efficiency for estate, succession, corporate and charitable planning initiatives. These structures are of particular value in providing a source of capital without interrupting the cash flow of the client\'s investment portfolio. Over this period Mr. Burgess has worked with over a dozen of the largest banks in the world helping them to develop efficient credit facilities for traditional premium financing. In addition, he has consulted with some of the largest insurance carriers helping them develop product compatible for this type of transaction. TBG has developed several proprietary insurance products and strategies to enhance wealth transfer initiatives. TBG has a global footprint, with offices in Salt Lake City, L.A, San Diego, Nashville, New York, Palm Beach, Mexico City, Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo. TBG\'s primary focus is working with the ultra affluent, family offices, law firms, accounting firms, private banks, financial advisors and charitable organizations. The TBG platform has raised over one billion dollars in charitable gifts over the last several years for numerous Hospitals/Clinics, Universities and Foundations.Prior to this Mr. Burgess was a principal in a firm which specialized in comprehensive estate and corporate planning analysis creating supplemental non-qualified retirement strategies for key executives and estate planning solutions for owners. In addition Mr. Burgess provided services and consultation in the merger and acquisition space. He assited with early-stage and mezzanine funding for small and mid-size companies looking to expand or restructure.
