About Steven Buer

Leadership, service, and impact have shaped every stage of my career—from national nonprofit leadership to corporate operations in the financial technology industry. Everywhere that I go, I am determined to find a way to make a positive impact. In my role, I work within operations management supporting service requests, monitoring Service Level Agreements, and conducting business analytics to help improve operational efficiency and client service outcomes. I enjoy working in environments where I can analyze problems, collaborate with teams, and help organizations improve the way they deliver value. I recently earned my MBA from University of Nebraska at Omaha, where I built a strong foundation in strategy, analytics, and organizational leadership. I also hold dual bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and Political Science. My education and professional experiences have helped shape my interest in the intersection of leadership, operations, and organizational development. Outside of my professional work, I remain deeply passionate about nonprofit leadership and youth development through Scouting. I previously served as National Vice Chief of the Order of the Arrow, Scouting’s National Honor Society, where I helped guide national initiatives and support leadership development across the country. I continue to stay involved in leadership training and service-focused initiatives that help young people develop character, leadership, and a commitment to service. As of today, I continue to give back to the program as a Training Adviser developing training content to train the next generation of leaders. My leadership approach is shaped by my Gallup Strengths: Achiever, Woo, Competition, Includer, and Self-Assurance. I am energized by opportunities to build relationships, develop teams, and contribute to organizations that are focused on growth, service, and meaningful impact.
