Steve is a husband to his amazing wife Kristen, father of two outstanding children and an accomplished Engineer and Program Manager with an extensive career spanning over 30 years in systems development and production, primarily within the aerospace and defense sectors. Steve’s career has been marked by a series of progressive technical leadership roles, where he has demonstrated a profound expertise in system architecture development, program management, and team leadership across classified and complex military projects. Skilled in System of Systems Architecture Development, Requirements Analysis, Radio Frequency (RF), Military Data Links & Communications, Networking, Software & Hardware Development, Agile Methodologies, and Systems Engineering. With a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Vermont, a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Iowa and Master\'s in Enterprise Architectural Systems Engineering from the University of California, San Diego\'s Jacobs School of Engineering.Currently, Steven serves as the Avionics Director of Engineering for the west coast and prior position as a Mission Systems Architect and Communications Lead Engineer at Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in San Diego, CA. In this role, he is responsible for developing mission system architectures for ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance) and strike platforms, ensuring the integration of cutting-edge technologies in communications, networking, payloads, and sensors. His work involves leading technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation processes, all while ensuring compliance with stringent customer needs and regulatory standards.Prior to his current role, Steven served as the Vice President of Engineering and Technology at Cubic Global Defense, where he led a large engineering team and provided strategic direction for a significant segment of the business. His leadership helped propel the company to meet ambitious technical and operational goals, optimizing product development and fostering engineering excellence.Steven\'s early career included impactful tenures at Rockwell Collins, where he led engineering teams and managed high-profile projects that significantly advanced military communications and data link technologies. His educational background includes an MBA from the University of Iowa and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Vermont, underpinning his technical and managerial skills with strong academic foundations.
