Steve Boehm, a member of Eversheds Sutherland’s Financial Services Practice Group, heads the firm’s Capital Markets and Investments team and has served two terms as a member of the firm\'s Executive Committee. Steve concentrates his practice in the corporate and securities area, with an emphasis on matters involving asset management arising under the jurisdiction of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). He represents registered and unregistered investment funds and investment advisers on a broad range of regulatory and transactional matters.Steve is nationally recognized as the leading authority on the regulation of business development companies (BDCs), representing many of the nation’s largest financial services companies in connection with the organization, operation and capital needs of their BDCs. He has also represented virtually every large investment bank in the US in connection with transactions in the BDC area.
