Steve has driven growth and operational efficiency across all facets of business. Among his most rewarding achievements are raising $10M in funding to fuel WAX’s expansion and developing products that meet market demand. He led the development of all internal operations and collaborated closely with the tech team to bring innovative products to life.In addition to overseeing WAX’s financial operations, including accounting and financial modeling, Steve was instrumental in building the company’s B2B2C network. This included creating a tailored insurance product for brokers and successfully scaling the broker partner network, significantly expanding WAX’s reach.Before joining WAX, Steve held progressive roles in the insurance industry. He began as an Actuarial Analyst at a national insurer, where he mastered his analytical and technical skills, significantly improving internal processes for greater efficiency. He later moved into insurance investment consulting at a multinational firm, serving as the key contact for large companies. In this role, he advised clients on their employee benefit programs and negotiated with insurers to secure optimal terms in the market.Steve earned a B.Sc. in Actuarial Mathematics from Concordia University and thrives in dynamic environments.
