As Lifting AP and Construction Package Manager for the £900 million SeAH Wind XXL monopile manufacturing facility at Teesworks, I oversee critical construction packages and ensure the safe and efficient execution of lifting operations on-site. My responsibilities include- Part of the leadership team overseeing key installations, including Severfield structural steel, ASSA Abloy Mega doors, TRL machinery/equipment, and KUMOH overhead gantry cranes. I lead and manage contractors, ensuring all activities align with the project schedule and requirements- Manage day-to-day contractor activities within designated work areas, maintaining operational efficiency, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and maximizing performance- Act as the key liaison between design teams and contractors to ensure seamless integration of utility works into the construction plan, ensuring all designs are achievable and aligned with project objectives- Lead value engineering initiatives to implement cost-effective solutions, delivering value while maintaining safety and quality- Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) standards, providing leadership and mentoring to contractor teams to promote a proactive safety culture. I take swift action to halt operations if safety is compromised- Oversee the planning, organization, and execution of lifting operations, ensuring they are conducted safely by qualified personnel in compliance with safety protocols. I review and approve lift plans and RAMS, ensuring all activities meet safety standards- Conduct regular audits of lifting equipment and operations, ensuring compliance with all safety standards and ensuring only authorized personnel are involved in lifting activities- Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal and external, contractors and site management teams, resolving any issues and minimizing disruptions to ensure the construction timeline is maintained.
