I am a Partner who deals with all aspects of Private Client law including Wills, Trusts, Tax Planning, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate and Philanthropy.My approach is to identify the issues that matter to my clients, help them understand the threats and opportunities that exist and fit solutions to the issues we identify as a result.I specialise in personal planning for business and family business owners and senior business executives. I often deal with the higher level succession planning needs associated with more complex family arrangements and High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth clients.I am a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), a member of the STEP Family Business Special Interest Group, immediate past Chair of Manchester Law Society’s Private Client Committee and Chair of their Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Committee.I also have a keen interest in philanthropy and help clients to achieve their philanthropic goals. I co-founded and co-chair The Philanthropy Network which aims to promote the discussion of philanthropy by professionals with their clients.
