I started my career on the bench, hands-on in pathology and lab services, and worked my way up with over a decade of experience in the field. Today, I’m proud to serve as Assistant Operations Manager, Ambulatory Pathology at Kaiser Permanente, where I lead with the same mindset I had as a frontline tech: detail, discipline, and doing what’s best for our patients and teams.As a leader, I believe in setting a championship culture — one built on accountability, teamwork, and recognition. I’ve developed business proposals that successfully changed departmental hours to better support physicians, staff, and patients; streamlined workflows that get slides to pathologists earlier; and implemented consumer feedback programs that raised member experience scores. I also played a key role in onboarding new physicians, ensuring smooth transitions that support both clinical excellence and team integration.My management style is straightforward: I invest in my people, I track the data, and I make sure both align to deliver results. Whether it’s survey readiness, quality metrics, or staff coaching, I focus on connecting strategy to execution.Currently pursuing my MBA with a concentration in Project Management, I’m passionate about applying what I learn in real time to improve operations, enhance patient care, and grow as a leader.
