As Assistant Director of Talent Acquisition at Duke University Health System, I lead a high-performing team of 13 recruiters dedicated to attracting top-tier talent for one of the world’s premier academic and healthcare institutions. My role bridges strategic vision and operational execution—partnering with senior leaders, HR business partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to design and implement talent strategies that drive organizational excellence in support of Duke Health\'s mission and growth.With over 20 years of experience across Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Online Learning, and Administration, I’ve worked with diverse teams in both domestic and international settings—including global organizations and institutions, inside and outside the U.S. This global perspective has deepened my understanding of inclusive hiring, cross-cultural collaboration, and scalable workforce solutions.My career is defined by transformative projects: championing online and distance learning at the university level, developing HR policies that foster transparency and compliance, and procuring advanced technologies to enhance virtual learning environments.    Lead and develop a team of 15 Talent Acquisition Professionals (TA Consultants and Sourcing Analysts) for Duke University Health Systems (Duke University Hospital, Duke Regional Hospital, Duke Raleigh Hospital, and various Duke Ambulatory Surgery Centers)- Reporting to and collaborating with the Assistant Vice President, DUHS New Talent Strategies, to oversee day-to-day recruiting and sourcing operations- Collaborate with Health System leaders, HR Business Partners, and other stakeholders to determine Talent Acquisition strategies and resources required to develop and implement TA programs to attract and hire the best talent across the Health System- Responsible for ensuring the hiring processes meet department and organizational goals per federal guidelines and regulations, Duke policies, and Joint Commission Standards.
