About Steve McQuaid

I’m leading a team of program managers, business analysts, data analysts and project managers focused on AI and Data strategy and operations for the Experience Engineering organization at Red Hat. We’re focused on extending our use of AI capabilities across associate and customer experiences to create measurable impact. We’re also responsible for XE’s foundational data assets, from governance to reporting strategy to cross-company data pipelines.I’m a seasoned leader of technical program, project and analyst functions. Before people management, I built my experience in technical program management, sales, sales engineering, and customer success management roles. I love the challenge of solving new problems by building teams and functions. I’m known for being an excellent people manager and coach. I’m skilled at creating context, leading presentations, and guiding senior leadership groups through complex business decisions. I can adeptly move between the technical details and the big-picture business context to connect them seamlessly. I’m a connector, and my most impactful work is done when I’m uniting cross-functional teams around a common vision, then executing together. My best moments are those spent coaching, celebrating, or otherwise lifting up my teammates.
