Director, Core Technology, Architecture and Security (CTAS) is responsible for providing leadership, strategic direction and oversight to five areas; Core Technology(Network/Server/Storage), Enterprise Architecture, IT Information Security and IT Assets/Procurement and Cloud. Our team supports the IT infrastructure connecting over 50 locations (Corporate, Regional, Health Centres, Nursing Stations, eHealth/Telehealth) throughout BC. Core Technologies include teams managing Hyper-converged Infrastructure, Networks and Data Centres. Enterprise Architecture applies architecture principles and practices to guide organizations through the business, information, process, and technology changes necessary to execute their strategies. Ensure standardization and efficiency by establishing and apply sound Enterprise Architecture principles. IT Security applies to the organization’s IT Information and cyber-security policies, regulations and processes in order to protect information assets. IT Asset and Procurement management applies to the application of best practices (Evergreen/Life Cycle) to manage our organization’s IT assets. The Cloud team manages the transition/migration of existing on-prem or new applications and services to our Cloud tenants (eg, M365) as well as the onboarding of SaaS based applications.
