About Steven J. Keeler
Steve Keeler is a former “Big Law” firm M&A and PE partner who founded a new law firm to focus on working with private company founders, CEOs, owners and investors on business ownership, growth, capital raising and exit planning. He often serves as a “coach” to company decision makers and a “quarterback” to other company advisers on merger and acquisition, equity financing, joint venture and other high-stakes business transactions. In addition to his law degree, Steve has a masters of law in taxation, passed the CPA exam (although he is licensed as an attorney and not as a CPA) and is both a Certified M&A Advisor (CM & AA) and a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA). Steve has advised hundreds of companies, investors, sellers and buyers in all aspects of private company structuring, financing, strategic partnerships and exits. He frequently works with a company\'s C-Suite, GC and outside counsel and coordinates the teamwork of accountants, investment bankers and other business advisors. Steve can either work with a client years in advance of a significant transaction or event to maximize transaction value and efficiency or be brought in prior to a company restructuring, financing or sale process and transaction where his deal experience may add value. Steve is industry agnostic, and has significant experience working with companies in manufacturing, distribution, professional services, consumer products, transportation and logistics, and technology (including SAAS and AI companies, healthcare IT, biotech, ag tech, energy, renewables and clean tech, ed tech, and media and publishing tech).
