With a career spanning over 40 years in Aerospace & Defence, I bridge the gap between complex engineering reality and modern data strategy. My journey has taken me from the machine shops of British Aerospace to the Snowflake Data Cloud, giving me a unique \"shop floor to boardroom\" perspective on the industry.I began my career as a Time-Served Universal Miller, hand-machining Airbus components. This foundational experience evolved into NC Programming for the Typhoon (Samlesbury) and Boeing 737, eventually leading to a career-long focus on the digital technologies that power the sector: PLM, ERP, MES, and Automation.Having spent decades at industry giants like IBM, Dassault Systèmes, and Salesforce, I have supported the evolution of the Digital Thread across the entire product lifecycle, from Design and Manufacture to Build, Operation, and Through-Life Support.At Snowflake, I lead our A&D Manufacturing strategy in the UK. My mission is to help organisations like Rolls-Royce, BAE SYSTEMS and Airbus break down legacy silos and move beyond \"Single Version of the Truth\" buzzwords into tangible, data-driven operational excellence.I am particularly interested in collaborating with Global Systems Integrators (GSIs) and technology partners (Palantir, Siemens, SAP, 1eQ Technologic) to build secure, sovereign data ecosystems that protect and propel the UK\'s sovereign defence capabilities.Whether you want to discuss the nuances of Blisk manufacturing or the future of AI in the hangar, I’m always open to a conversation.
