I\'m an IT infrastructure and operations leader with over 20 years\' experience in regulated financial services and complex enterprise environments - running technology functions, building teams, and leading the programmes that fix what\'s holding organisations back.My career has been shaped by inheriting things that aren\'t working and making them work: infrastructure estates carrying years of technical debt, teams without governance or service management, delivery programmes that have lost stakeholder confidence. I surface the real picture - what the estate actually looks like, where the risk sits, what\'s been underinvested - and then I lead the work to fix it.That perspective comes from doing the job across multiple angles: six years leading a 21-person infrastructure and operations function in a triple-regulated business, building governance, service management, and a customer-centric mindset. Two years leading a business-critical platform programme for a global IT Service Provider, aligned to a leading UK bank, with full delivery and financial accountability. And a year in second-line risk at another major UK bank, scrutinising cloud and infrastructure change from the outside. The combination of delivery leader and risk practitioner shapes everything I do: diagnosis before prescription, substance before momentum, and investment decisions grounded in reality rather than optimism.Alongside hands-on leadership, I co-host and serve as Resident Technology Leader at The Curious Mindset, a community for senior technology leaders exploring leadership, risk, culture, and the human side of technological change.I\'m open to interim, contract, and permanent infrastructure and technology leadership roles - particularly where technical debt, operational maturity, and delivery confidence need experienced attention, or where technical teams need support in stepping up to achieve their full potential.
