I lead product engineering, architecture, engineering delivery and technical client engagement for Tokenovate’s post-trade automation platform, built on FINOS CDM for repo, securities finance and interest rate derivatives workflows.A central part of my role is shaping Tokenovate’s digital assets and tokenisation strategy. This includes designing and delivering platform capabilities for tokenised securities, tokenised cash, digital issuance, and tokenised settlement, alongside interoperability with more traditional post-trade and settlement infrastructure. My work spans both the automation of conventional lifecycle events and the creation of digitally native workflows where assets, cash and trade events can be represented, orchestrated and settled using blockchain-based infrastructure.I have led the architecture and product direction for capabilities that connect post-trade automation with digital asset rails, including support for ephemeral token models, beneficial ownership representation, on-chain event recording, and synchronisation between on-chain and off-chain systems of record. This has included work on cross-network settlement orchestration, where tokenised assets and cash can be used to support more efficient and programmable settlement processes.Highlights include delivery of CDM-driven lifecycle automation, development of a post-trade data and analytics foundation over business events, and a Global Digital Finance proof of concept that orchestrated cross-chain settlement of a margin call using tokenised money market fund units between two UK banks.

I’m a Chief Technology Officer and product-led engineering leader with 25+ years of experience building, scaling and operating complex software platforms in regulated and high-consequence environments.Today I lead product, architecture and engineering at Tokenovate, where we are building a FINOS CDM-based post-trade automation platform for repo, securities finance and interest rate derivatives, with settlement rails into both traditional infrastructure and digital asset networks.My background spans capital markets, digital assets, healthtech, mobility analytics, cloud platforms, IoT and telecoms. Across those domains, the common thread has been leading teams through difficult engineering and delivery challenges: shaping product strategy, defining architecture, building strong operating models, improving quality and governance, and getting valuable products into the hands of customers.I’ve led organisations of up to 70-80 people across engineering, QA, SRE/DevOps and data, and have delivered in environments shaped by ISO 27001, SOC 2, DORA, ISO 13485 and HIPAA. I enjoy operating at the intersection of product, platform and execution, especially where the work involves complex workflows, high trust requirements, interoperability, and real commercial outcomes.Some of the work I’m proudest of includes- building CDM-driven post-trade lifecycle and settlement workflows, including tokenised and cross-chain settlement use cases- delivering genomic and clinical platforms used in NHS and insurer-backed services- scaling engineering organisations and modernising delivery practices in regulated businesses- launching new SaaS products quickly in global, distributed organisations- leading innovation programmes spanning energy, IoT, data platforms and telecomsI’m particularly interested in the future of financial market infrastructure, digital assets, interoperable settlement, and the practical application of standards-led automation.
