About Steve Felt

I started Creative Business Finance in May 2008 to help small business owners obtain financing when they were declined by the banks, and to help bankers save relationships with customers after declining a loan request. We look at the big picture when we get an application for financing and listen to your story to determine credit worthiness. I have worked in the finance industry since and have taught numerous courses for financial professionals and the general public on several financial literacy topics; such as, First Time Home Buyer Programs, Understanding Financial Statements for Loan Officers, FDIC\'s Money Smart Program, Investment Mortgage Planning, Investing in Commercial Real Estate, and Understanding Residential Foreclosures (co-authored a book on this topic). Some of my courses have been approved for continuing education credits by the NJEA, CFP Board of Standards, NASBA, CLE and several Real Estate associations.
