Groundwork is a charity that helps create greener, fairer communities by supporting people into work, improving local environments, and promoting sustainable living. I sit on the board for the North East & Cumbria branch, which delivers frontline programmes like youth employment, health and wellbeing, and nature-based regeneration. I also advise on the marketing for our trading arms: The Greenhouse, a sustainable office space, and the Land of Oak & Iron, a heritage site with a café, business spaces and public green areas. Revenue from these helps fund our wider charitable impact.
