As CEO of Elute I manage the company’s overall operations, product direction, financial goals and lead the direction of the business. I am passionate about driving our strategy, communicating clarity, and inspiring our team to maximise our technology. Coordinating regularly with the board and sharing time with our HNWI investors is central to this role. Elute’s flagship platform, Insights IDS, is the first patent-based decision support tool built specifically for investors. It reveals true product-level competitors, benchmarks innovation strength, and identifies emerging technology trends by analysing 140 million patents, without requiring IP expertise. The platform is powered by proprietary algorithms unique in the market for translating complex patent data into clear, auditable innovation metrics. Elute\'s core algorithms have been live in production for more than a decade within our CopyCatch API solution used by clients such as UCAS, SoA and Slice the Pie to process millions of reviews and student submissions. Insights IDS represents an evolution of these algorithms which have now been reimagined for the patent domain to open a new, untapped dataset to the investment sector. Our beta program was oversubscribed and is underway working with investment managers, hedge funds, VCs, sell side brokers and private equity teams to improve decision-making, manage risk, and uncover opportunities overlooked by traditional financial analysis. Adoption is confirming a clear unmet need in the market and a significant growth opportunity.
