I am an accomplished operations executive with deep experience in aviation. I provide the attention to detail, strong character and relentless follow-thru necessary to lead team members to successfully and safely accomplish the corporate mission. Over my career, I have been involved in a number of pilot contract negotiations with both the Airline Pilots Association, and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS • Achieved A+ Operational Performance Standards rating while operating at a cost structure 30% lower than competing airlines. • Positioned and presided over the Flight Operations Department during a successful corporate acquisition. • Consolidated four separate departmental training departments into one consolidated Corporate Training department. • Reduced training cost per block hour via departmental synergies. • Managed, developed and promoted four managers in four years, two moved to Director level positions and one moved to a Vice Presidential position. • Instituted department productivity goals that led to 6.6% reduction in costs in the first year. • Moved employee training off site, resulting in 1million dollars of saving over 2 years. • Implemented increased usage of computer based training vs. Classroom learning. • Led pilots for 11 years. • Successfully delivered 10 aircraft in 10 weeks while increasing pilot staffing. • Successfully bargained work rule concessions from ALPA during bankruptcy negotiations.
