ABOUT STEVE BELHAM

I am a chartered mechanical engineer, applying my technical, commercial and environmental expertise to a range of energy investment projects. I am a Senior Energy Consultant at Arup with their Northwest & Yorkshire Energy Consulting team where I have gained extensive experience and responsibility working on over 150 projects. This is complemented by previous experience in other areas of building services consultancy.I have earned recognition among clients, peers and collaborators as a trusted and competent engineer, advisor, manager and project team member based on the technical, economic and environmental consulting advice I have delivered. My areas of experience to date include district energy, energy strategy, masterplanning, project business case development, hydrogen, heat mapping, options appraisal of low carbon and renewable technologies, utilities and energy service procurement and UK energy policy and legislation review. I have worked closely with clients in healthcare, education, manufacturing, industry, transport and utility sectors as well as a range of private developers and local authorities across the UK.By reliably delivering high quality work with a collaborative, flexible and innovative approach; I am building upon my reputation as a trusted and experienced energy consultant among the growing number of clients and stakeholders I work with across all sectors.
