I am also passionate about helping people improve their fitness, health and lifestyles.As an ex cyclist, I needed a new challenge. I decided to learn to swim and run to complete an Ironman triathlon, which is a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike followed by a marathon, as a goal to get fit again. I only just got round after a lot of sweat and even more tears. I am now a 14 times Ironman finisher, working towards World Championship qualification and a place on Team GB. I am chairman of Cleethorpes Tri Club, that I setup with a good friend, David Scott in 2016. The aim is to introduce people to a fun sport, be they competitive or not and to lead a more active lifestyle with help from myself and other coaches on health, fitness, weight management and performance.
