ABOUT STEVE ZAMBORSKY
Steve Zamborsky has a BS in Chemistry and an MS in Chemistry from Cleveland State University. He is a co-author of a patented pigment:“U.S. Patent # 6,756,486 issued June 29, 2004; Non-Migrating Metalized Disazo Green Shade Yellow Pigment.”Steve went to work at Ashland Chemical a QC Senior Lab Technician and concurrently earned his BS degree in Chemistry at Cleveland State while working there. After seven years he was recruited to Engelhard Corporation as an Associate Chemist where he developed azo pigments. In 2007 BASF bought the company. He then moved to Lubrizol as a Research Chemist where he worked on a wide variety of coatings systems and dispersion systems for two years before going back to school to get his Master’s degree full time. Upon graduation he joined Glass Coatings and Concepts as an R&D Chemist. At GCC he formulated six new ceramic enamel systems that increased company sales by 13% in the first two years. After two years he was then recruited to Flint Group as a Senior Development Chemist developing organic pigments for inks and coating systems. Steve was recruited by NAPCO, Ltd. after a nationwide search to head their R&D department and fill the role of Technical loves boardgames, is a foodie, still roots for his hometown Cleveland teams, and considers himself an amateur mixologist. Steve currently resides with his wife Rebecca in the Northwest Indiana area.
