ABOUT STEVE WILHITE
I joined Schneider Electric in 2011 when the company acquired Summit Energy. Prior to Schneider, I held a variety of management positions in organizations that compete in deregulated retail energy and energy efficiency services. And I brought that domain experience to Summit, where I took on the role of president in 2002 and became CEO in 2007.Now at Schneider Electric\'s Sustainability Business, I have the honor of leading a team of great people that advise our more than clients on the energy transition, including energy and risk management services, sustainability and net-zero consulting, energy efficiency (including electrification), renewable energy procurement, nature- and technology-based solutions, and supply chain engagement. I’ve dedicated my professional life to helping companies buy energy smarter, use resources more efficiently and drive sustainable growth. I have a passion for technology-based service-oriented endeavors, with an emphasis on how leaders can help create an effective service ethos. While I enjoy golf as an “escape,” I really love spending time with my family, experiencing different cultures and parts of the world, and engaging in various mission-related activities. I also enjoy all forms of competition when it involves family members and long-time friends.
