ABOUT STEVE WATTON
More than 40 years either racing or preparing cars for competition within British Motorsport. Many race wins and Championship victories in both contemporary and historic racing. Commenced racing in the historic sector in 1994 with a Mk1 Lotus Cortina. Since then has enjoyed success racing Lotus Elan, TVR Griffith, Turner Sportscars and has lately embarked on the development of a late 60’s P6 Rover. In 2022 created the Historic Modsports & Special Saloon series for the Historic Sports Car Club (HSCC). Now a successful series looking forward to the 2025 season. Recipient of the Peter Collins Memorial Trophy from the British Automobile Racing Club. Magistrate for 23 years. Married to Carol for 41 years. Member of Mensa.
