I came into the Academy as a musical-theatre pianist, and I still assist with musical theatre, as a substitute, and in \"taping\" sessions with the students. Currently I\'m acting as principal accompanist for the Voice Department; I was also music director for the \"American Opera Laboratory\" extracurricular from its founding in 2010 through the Spring 2017 semester. Currently, I\'m also teaching the new weekly Practicum, for which I served on the original Steering Committee.
