About: There are two things I’ve come to know extraordinarily well during a career spanning more than three decades: commercial banking and Spokane, Washington. I’ve been a Spokanite my entire life and my career began in this Eastern Washington community. Today I am the Spokane/North Idaho Regional President for Washington Trust Bank. I oversee all commercial lending for clients in Eastern Washington as well as North Idaho, and this oversight encompasses five key teams in the regions: North Idaho Commercial, Commercial Real Estate, Private Banking and two Spokane Commercial Banking teams. These teams serve some of the largest, most complex business relationships in their respective regions. My responsibilities extend to service areas with impacts throughout the region and the bank. For instance, I work with our retail, home loan center and other divisions to build Washington Trust Bank’s brand and opportunity in the Spokane market. I have overseen the SBA Department, which is centralized in Spokane but serves our Northwest footprint. Also, I cultivate strong partnerships across this family-owned bank, working closely with wealth management, retail and home loan center divisions as well as loan servicing and our call center to be ready to provide the right solution to any client challenge. As a leader, I look for opportunities to share my expertise both at Washington Trust Bank and in my community. At the bank, I serve on the Planning and Executive Committees as well as ALCO and the Deposit Rate Committee. In the community, I share Washington Trust Bank’s passion for establishing a strong foundation, from supporting our youth to creating a favorable business environment, and I serve as a Board member with both the YMCA and Greater Spokane Incorporated.
