ABOUT STEVE UDALL

Steve has more than 30 years\' technical leadership experience across defence & civilian domains, as both Chief Engineer and Architect. He has led the design & implementation of large-scale mission-critical IT systems in such domains as air traffic control (NATS & MOD), automatic mail processing (Royal Mail), and Command & Control (London Met Police), integrating both COTS and bespoke hardware & software solutions, including middleware enablers.He has also designed point solutions for defence, including intelligence sharing, networked radars & electronic navigation across the Royal Navy.Earlier in his career, Steve was an expert in the design of spaceborne Synthetic Aperture Radars for Europe and Canada, with a patent and a number of papers to his name. He also contributed to research in robotics vision at Oxford University.
