Alongside my counselling work, since September 2024 I have run a series of in-person group tutoring sessions for Skillsmax, a leading training organisation. In conjunction with the DWP, I have been leading a \"Positive Futures\" course for groups of 8 people (aged 50+) who are currently unemployed and trying to return to work.Our group sessions have covered topics such as identifying hard & soft skills, rebuilding confidence, effective stress management, improving communication, IT skills and interview coaching. I find group sessions so rewarding, especially alongside the one-to-one remote counselling sessions through Purpose Mentoring.
