ABOUT STEVE THATCHER

Steve is currently the Manager of the Litigation Operations section at E.on Next, keeping things on an even keel for a year. After three very enjoyable and busy years at FA Simms, Steve moved on to a stint as a corporate advisor. Too many Directors encounter problems after the Insolvency of their businesses which with planning and foresight could have been avoided, saving in lots of cases tens of thousands of pounds. Steve is the probably the foremost authority on taking indebted Irish citizens through the bankruptcy process in the UK. He is contacted by those genuinely looking to relocate to the UK. He\'s assisted many people through the bankruptcy process over the past 20 years. In 2010 he helped set up the firm Irish Bankruptcy UK and was at the forefront or raising the issue of a UK bankruptcy as an option for Irish people. Since then his clients have written off over €2 bn of Irish debt in the UK, thus helping many people rid themselves of an unworkable debt burden and start their lives afresh debt free after a 12 month bankruptcy in the UK. He has helped everyone from young couples to free themselves of negative equity to developers whose businesses have collapsed leaving them personally liable for hundreds of millions of euro owed to Irish banks. Seeing a number of people going through insolvency who had personal guarantees, which were often the reason for needing to undertake insolvency, Steve has created a Personal Guarantee Insurance product, which he launched on 10th February 2014.
