Founded the Collegiate Running Association (CRA) as a Not for Profit (501c3) organization promoting healthy lifestyles among college students through running and to provide opportunities for the public to participate in quality Road, Mountain, Trail and Snowshoe Running events. The CRA offers competitive and social competitions through partnerships with established destination events along with the creation of new events. CRA events in road, mountain and trail running are open to the public and offer collegiate national championships not currently offered by any other organization with prize money specifically reserved for college students. Students (JUCO, Undergraduate, Graduate & Post Graduate) taking at least one college course in the U.S. are eligible for national championship awards and prize money. Since the first championship in 2014, the Collegiate Running Association has held multiple championships in road, mountain and trail running with nearly in prize money, travel and awards specifically reserved for college students. Those events and event partnerships have attracted over runners and have collectively welcomed over college student participants. Since 2014 the Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10K in Richmond, VA (one of the largest in the U.S.) has extended its partnership by hosting the Collegiate 10K Road Race National Championships each year. CRA Athlete achievements: 19 CRA members have collectively qualified for 75 USATF National Teams, 14 Olympic Trials Qualifiers in 2016, 1 Olympian in 2016 and 2021, 1 Olympic Medalist in 2016 and 2021, 1 World Champion in 2016, 1 World Champion in 2017, 3 members of Team USATF Mtn Running’s World Championship Gold Medal Team in 2016, 6 additional members of Team USA since 2014, 7 World Track & Field or Olympic Championship Qualifiers (20••••16).
