WORK HISTORY
Senior Director Learning and Culture @Johnsonville
In this role I have the opportunity to lead the Organizational Learning team and Operations Member Services (Human Resources). My key role is to create an environment that required members to fully develop their God-given talents and help others do the same. I partner closely with leaders in our manufacturing facilities and Global Headquarters to focus on member performance, succession, organizational development and member relations. This is a challenging leadership role in an organization truly dedicated to “using the business to build our people.” I am passionate about creating a work environment that attracts, retains, and engages members who accept nothing less than personal greatness. I believe that we get the best from members by building a fire within themselves. The secret to anyone’s success is what is call “And-then-some syndrome.” The power of these words is captured in a short essay written by Carl Holmes. And then some… these three little words are the secret to success. They are the difference between average people and top performers in most companies. The top performers always do what is expected…and then some. They are thoughtful of others; they are considerate and kind…and then some. They meet their responsibilities fairly and squarely…and then some. They are good friends and helpful neighbors…and then some. They can be counted on in an emergency…and then some. I am thankful for people like this, for they make the world a better place. There spirit is summed up in these three little words…and then some.
