AIB Dublin, Calypso v14 FOBO Implementation, Business Analyst – Reporting (September 2016 – Present) • Working alongside the SMEs gathering requirements and building Reports for Front Office, Back Office, Regulatory, Risk and Finance Reports. This role relates to Cross Products such as Loans/Deposits, Call Accounts, FX and FX Options. All Reports are very unique, so I am exposed to all departments in order to cater for both their intraday and EOD requirements. • The EOD Reports have been built within Transfer, Trade, Posting, Risk Config windows etc. Intraday reports have been built in the Calypso Workstation giving real time access to trade statuses. • Building these Reports requires determining the relevant output that needs extracted and creating the relevant Static Data Filters, Trade Filters, Filter Sets and Columns that need configured to retrieve this data. The majority of these Reports are generated within Calypso and then exported to the relevant departments via Scheduled Tasks. This required both manual creation and customisation. • Created external reports that are used for reporting tax for ROI and UK legal entities. Capturing the expected data and carrying out thorough testing to ensure the details required were available for the client. • Working on regulatory reports such as MMSR and MIFID. MIFID II is coming into regulation in January 2018 so there is a lot of interesting detail behind this report. All trading platforms are expected to report to the APA and ARM in the same format therefore a large amount of mapping and logic is required to meet these requirements reporting both Transaction (T+1) and Transparency (real time) reports. I am currently creating the Specs for both high priority reports.
