I retired January 2020 from ODOT D-5 after 31 years. For most of the first half of my ODOT career I was an Area Engineer in the Construction Department overseeing projects and staff in Guernsey, Muskingum, and Coshocton counties and the 2nd half I was the LPA Eng/Construction Monitor overseeing Local Agency projects, advising the counties, cities, twps, and park districts while ensuring their inspection and documentation met ODOT and FHWA requirements. Other responsibilities during the 2nd half of my career was overseeing Geotechnical design and construction along with being the District MS4 Liaison. The MS4 responsibilities included ensuring the District met EPA requirements in design, maintenance, and construction. At Terracon, I have worked for ODOT as a project engineer/inspector on interstate construction projects and as project manager for Terracon\'s work as the geotechnical subconsultant for a state route widening project. I have been serving Counties, Cities, and Twps as their Engineer/Project Manager of construction projects such bridge replacements, asphalt resurfacing, retaining walls, and slip repairs. I\'m also busy with business development for all Terracon\'s services - Geotechnical, Construction Admin/Inspection, Material Testing, Environmental, and Facilities.
