An accomplished Executive and active Board member, with extensive leadership and managerial experience in complex, low margin and highly competitive retail environments with very large capital investment activities through Loblaw Companies Limited (EVP, Finance) and Cara Operations Limited, now Recipe Unlimited (co -CEO and CFO). Led Cara as Co-CEO throughout 2013 and orchestrated the ultimate reorganization of Cara with Fairfax including the acquisition of Prime Restaurants. Currently very active and involved member of the Board of Directors, and Audit Committee Chair for each of Organigram Inc, and Flow Beverage Corp, as well as Chair of the Board of CanPR and advisor to Harbour Solutions. Prior Board roles include MAV Beauty Brands, Newstrike Brands Ltd, and CST Brands, an SEC registrant, based in San Antonio Texas with significant retail operations throughout USA and Central Canada, as well as an Advisory Board member of Jackman Reinvention Inc, Brand Strategy and Consulting Company in Toronto and New York.A proven extensive track record of successfully reorganizing business operations and management teams for maximum effectiveness as well as managing teams and business through the many operational hurdles and ambiguities of retail and hospitality industries.
