Torq has established preferential partnerships with producers, railways, midstream and downstream customers to focus in key crude producing regions, allowing the company to capitalize on pipeline capacity constraints, varying product differentials and its first mover advantage within Western Canada. Torq focuses on being a one stop energy logistics services provider for the crude supply chain who does NOT compete with its customers, creating strong alignment. With more than 35% of the Canadian crude-by-rail capacity market share, Torq is Canada’s largest independent operator of crude-by-rail terminals.
