About Steve Slaughter
After studying Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cornell University and earning my MBA from Harvard Business School, I built my career at the intersection of hard tech, scale up, and operations. I started my career designing electrical systems for fighter jets and space satellites at Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman. After that, I moved into deep tech and biotech where I led engineering and production teams, built a million-dollar pilot plant, and managed complex programs that brought new technologies from concept to real world deployment.I now focus on helping small and mid sized manufacturers modernize their operations and unlock the value in their factory data. My work centers on turning scattered machine, process, and quality signals into clear insights that improve margins, throughput, and visibility.I am looking to connect with owners, CEOs, CFOs, operations leaders, and plant managers who want better digital capabilities but do not have the time, internal resources, or capabilities to build full data systems.
