Leads a 35+ person team delivering strategic, technical, and operational analysis across the command’s most critical missions.• Multidisciplinary Leadership: Manage four specialized capability teams spanning operations research, data science, modeling & simulation (M&S), and strategic analysis. Guide analytical priorities aligned with national security objectives and CENTCOM’s operational needs.• Strategic Decision Support: Deliver senior-level briefings and analytical products to CENTCOM leadership, the J8 Director, and senior officials across the Department of Defense. Analysis directly informs resourcing, strategic posture, and theater-wide planning efforts.• Advanced Analytics & AI Integration: Drive the modernization of analysis efforts by incorporating machine learning, AI, and MLOps into modeling workflows—enabling faster, more scalable, and more repeatable insights.• Modeling, Simulation & Campaign Assessment: Oversee the design and execution of simulations, campaign models, and scenario analyses to evaluate force posture, capability tradeoffs, and mission risk across the region.• Wargaming & Game Theory: Lead development of structured wargames and game-theoretic analyses to explore adversary decision-making, test deterrence strategies, and inform contingency planning.• Human Decision Modeling: Pioneer tools that incorporate behavioral, political, and cultural variables into structured models—enabling decision-makers to better anticipate, shape, and assess complex geopolitical outcomes.
